Silence explores the fragile relationship between identity, absence, and the unspoken.

Resembling a fragmented mask or a discarded layer of skin, the sculpture exists somewhere between the human and the unfamiliar. Its pale, organic surface appears both delicate and unsettling, while its irregular, dissolving edges suggest a form gradually losing its definition.

The absence of a mouth becomes central to the work. What remains is a silent presence, a face without a voice, suspended between expression and concealment.

Rather than representing silence as emptiness, the work approaches it as something tangible, a space where emotions, memories, and unexpressed thoughts accumulate.

Silence reflects on what remains when words disappear, questioning whether the absence of a voice is a form of vulnerability, protection, or resistance.
