About the Artwork

“Inherited Light” explores transformation not as destruction, but as expansion. Golden fractures move through the figure like veins, roots, or traces of memory, revealing what exists beneath the surface rather than concealing it.

Flowers and butterflies emerge from the body as symbols of quiet metamorphosis, while the unfinished falling threads extend beyond the composition, allowing the work to remain suspended between fragility and becoming.
